Spam BoardsGet website traffic (website visitors) from spam boards
Ever used a forum/message board type site? These are sites where people discuss things of interest to them. One person will post a message (eg "did you see last night's episode of...."), then someone else will post a reply (eg "Yes, it was a good episode, but not as good as the episode where..."), and if the board is any good this will develop into a long conversation. However the one thing all boards hate is spam posts. These are off topic posts that have nothing to do with the subject of the board. They are normally deleted and repeat offenders banned from the board.
But to keep such posts to a minimum, most forums have a separate spam board, where adverts can be posted. The idea is that if they let people post on the spam board, they won't bother trying to post spam on the main board(s).
Of course the spam board does not get read as much as the other boards (usually only about 5% of the forum members, or less, ever read the spam board). But that small percentage is usually a reasonable number of people (at least on the larger forums), and it is worth going round the spam boards and posting your site advert there.
But notice that your advert will move down the page, so you will have to repost from time to time. Don't flood the board, wait until it has dropped of the front page before reposting. Also check the rules, make sure this is allowed.
And as usual, post on as many different spam boards as possible (Google/Yahoo again). You may find that some get too few readers to repost often, so look at the "members" count, and also the "users online" count as some boards get members signing up then leaving.

As you will have noticed I did not manage to get an update in before my holiday. And since I got back I have been too buisy with the backlog of work that built up while I was gone to write anything here. But today, at last, I have uploaded something.
However it is probably not what you hoped for. Read the section numbered "0" and called "Start Here", you probably won't like it, but you need to hear it.

Four new pages this time, but one is very short. They are on pages 11, 12, 13, and 14 in the index to the left.
Yet again I am away over the weekend - I should actually have left an hour ago, so do not expect the next uopdate until near the end of next week. (Although it is a bank holiday, sadly my trip is work related once more.)

Two new pages this week one on social networking and one on email signatures. They are on pages 9 and 10 in the index to the left.
Hopefully I'll add another page or two during the week, but I am away again next weekend (once more it is work related) so I may not have the time.
